Description
The role involves taking responsibility for welcoming guests to the restaurant in a friendly and helpful manner, managing a section within the restaurant ensuring that all standards are met with attention to detail. As part of the role you will be expected to be the maitre d delivering amazing hospitality and ensuring that all guest expectations are met. You will also have responsibility of the team during the shift, allocating daily duties to the team and keeping them motivated. You will be required to deliver the pre-service briefings, manage the team rota and place orders with suppliers.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and beverage and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands on supervisor who has excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a similar quality restaurant is required and knowledge of food, wine and beverage is an advantage. You must have passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile.

Malmaison Oxford is located in Oxford Castle, formerly HM Prison. The cells have been converted into hotel rooms and the Visitors room into the bar. The 94 bedroom hotel which opened in 2005 also offers a brasserie with private dining rooms, wine cellar, bar, champagne bar and roof terrace.
