Deriving from the Chinese word for 'pathway', LÁNG, the hotel’s artisan deli and cafe on the ground floor features an inviting selection of Shangri-La's renowned signature cakes, home-made chocolates and pastries as well as freshly prepared seasonal hampers, classic savouries and sandwiches for eat-in or take-away.

We currently have a vacancy for a Waiter/ess joining our LÁNG team

The Role

Being a Waiter/ess in LÁNG requires quick thinking, motivation, energy and a positive attitude. All colleagues need to work together in order to make the service run smoothly. Guest experience is essential to us and therefore making everyone feel welcome and taking ownership of guest requests is crucial.

LÁNG opens from 7am until 11pm most days therefore knowledge and training will be versatile. From coffees to Champagne, LÁNG offers a range of items including cakes, chocolates and macaroons.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Excellent guest engagement skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English (both oral and written)

Desirable Requirements

• Coffee & Tea knowledge
• Hotel experience
• Retail experience
