We’re looking for a General Manager to be responsible for running and leading the entire team and managing all operations at our restaurant, The Ivy Café Marylebone. As a General Manager you will need to meet all financial and operational expectations of the restaurant, while exceeding guest expectations and maintaining a strong team. The pace is fast and the standards are high, but if you are passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience, it could be a great next step in your career.

You will: 

• Maintain responsibility for the overall strategic planning, development and success of the restaurant alongside the Head Chef. You’ll understand, articulate and communicate financial targets and create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development.
• Build and maintain effective relationships across the business, acting as a figurehead for the restaurant and driving improved productivity, turnover and profitability
• Fully understand what The Ivy Collection offers and enthusiastically ensure all team members are proficient in this area and can effectively communicate to others
• Have a great front of house presence and manage and motivate a large team, leading the recruitment and training of team members and management
• Exceed guest expectations by providing exceptional service and staff management
• Have extensive experience as a General Manager within the hospitality industry, demonstrating an up to date in depth understanding of the industry
