Lucknam Park is the proud winner of various food and beverage awards and have retained a Michelin star for 13 years!  We are now looking for a passionate, ‘hands-on’ Food and Beverage Operations Manager to further enhance the team.

The successful person will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service is consistently achieved across all food and beverage outlets as well as leading, motivating and developing team members and ensuring that targets are achieved with regards to revenue and expenditure.

Responsibilities of the Food and Beverage Operations Manager are:

  • Oversee service periods across the F&B operation
  • Recruit, develop and motivate an engaged team
  • Develop and implement training plans and succession planning
  • Ensure all F&B operations are presented to a high standard at all times
  • Ensuring service periods run smoothly and staffing levels are relevant
  • Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the kitchen brigade
  • Rostering, reviewing and appraising team members
  • Stock levels – beverages, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc are all monitored and accounted for
  • Monthly stocktake
  • Ensuring the department is compliant with all financial procedures, H&S and Food Safety

Experience and skills required for a Food and Beverage Operations Manager:

  • Minimum requirement - experience as a F&B Manager – minimum 3 rosette, Michelin star experience would be preferable
  • Excellent knowledge of beverages and fresh food
  • WSET Wine qualification, preferably Level 3
  • Comprehensive cheese knowledge
  • Knowledge of Licensing Laws, weights and measures
  • Experience of recruiting, training and appraising team members
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and guests in a professional manner
  • Fluent in English – written and verbal
  • Well presented
  • Team player
  • Passionate about guest service
  • Awareness of the local market/competitors

We are offering a competitive salary for a full time role, working 48 hours over 5 days including evenings, weekends and Bank/Public Holidays.
