What - Kitchen Assistant 

Where -  Wandsworth, South London
How Long - Full time 37.5 hours
How much -  £10 per hour

The role involves

Production of salads for the store

Cooking fresh hot dishes for the store

Production of baked goods e.g. muffins/ brownies/ pastries
Ensuring that food supplied from the Westbourne Grove central kitchen is at the correct temperature
Ensuring that food looks well presented and appetising
Developing a good relationship with the Food to Go Duty manager who is responsible for the front of house service area.

Kitchen Porter: This role includes two KP shifts per week, supporting the kitchen team in cleaning, food preparation and receiving/storing deliveries.

Person

We are looking for someone with lots of initiative, experience in a similar role or the capability to move into this role, who understands the importance of health and safety and food safety, equipment maintenance, good interpersonal skills, high standards.

Planet Organic was established in 1995 and we currently have 7 stores in London with over 300 employees. We sell only the freshest, healthiest and most delicious organic/natural food that customers can find, as well as the finest organic skincare, books, juices and take away food.

We have a central kitchen based above our Westbourne Grove store that has a team of chefs who produce organic food for our stores based in London. The team produces delicious hot vegetarian dishes, salads and muffin / brownie / flapjacks for our stores
