About the General Manager Role

About the Pub

Situated a short distance from Edinburgh's city centre and very close to Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, the Hampton has an excellent local following. The Hampton is subject to a proposed capital investment in Financial Year 2019-2020 and the new General Manager, amongst other things will be expected to use the investment to develop new core business through the ethos of cold beer, hot food and warm welcome.

Currently running under the urban food menu, cask ale, craft beer and premium service will form part of the offer moving forward, this supported by Sky Sports will be the platform to deliver a great service from a friendly team.

Whilst not a big part of the offer, the Hampton has 6 letting bedrooms and forma a small but important part.

The North stand of Murrayfields Stadium is a stone throw from the Hampton and the General Manager must be comfortable and capable of driving high sales and happy guests and team on key sporting dates,
