Job DescriptionAn opportunity has arisen for a 39 hrs Hygiene Team Leader. Your responsibility will be to ensure your team are working to a schedule in a professional manor, taking pride in achieving a clean and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agreeing and setting targets with the Supervisor for standards and staff hours, whilst monitoring and reviewing departmental performance on a regular basis
- Communicating information about bakery targets and operational planning requirements to the team using the most appropriate means of communication
- Identifying efficiency improvements to supply chain operations, applying GPS tools and techniques
- Ensuring all activities within the department conform to agreed food safety and health and safety requirements
- Responding effectively to a range of internal queries
- Ensuring all areas of kept clean, tidy and hygienic throughout the day
- Enforcing personal cleanliness and the wearing of Company regulation uniform
- Maintaining a positive atmosphere and encouraging the team to work within the Values
Skills
- An ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Previous Team Leader experience in a food manufacturing environment
- A sound knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
- Basic numeracy and computer skills
