Food and Beverage Supervisor - Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat - Wootton Bridge, Ryde

A position has become available for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join the Front of House team at the beautiful Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat on the Isle of Wight.

This is an exciting role to work with the Food and Beverage Manager to assist in leading the day to day running of the bar and restaurant areas. This will include monitoring and ordering of stock, supervising the front of house team and ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all areas are in line with the company’s high standards.

Woodside Bay welcomes many guests each week. You will ensure they receive exceptional service within the bar and restaurant areas, maintaining the high standards Darwin Escapes prides itself on.

Previous customer service experience and outstanding customer care skills are essential to the role.

This is a permanent position to work variable hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising the Front of House team to ensure a high level of customer service is given
• Serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Liaising with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure effective operation of the department
• Glass collecting and resetting of tables.
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all areas.
• Cash handling, using Epos Systems.
• Stock rotation of merchandise on shelves and in fridges.

What experience you will need

• You will have similar previous experience.
• Previous bar or restaurant experience is essential.

What skills you will need

• Excellent customer service skills to ensure high standards.
• Driving licence and ability to drive is advantageous to enable you to get to the park.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn.
