Full Time Food and Beverage Assistant - The KP Club - Pocklington, York

The Food and Beverage team at The KP Club have a position available for a Full Time Bar and Waiting Assistant to join them at their five star resort, nestled in stunning Yorkshire countryside.

Upon joining us you will work within the Food and Beverage team to provide excellent customer service to our guests while here with us in our recently redeveloped, modern restaurant. This will include serving food and beverages in both the bar and restaurant areas, ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of these areas and glass collecting and resetting of tables where necessary.

This is a permanent position to work full time, variable hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Glass collecting and resetting of tables swiftly.
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all areas.
• Accurate cash handling, and use of our Epos systems.
• Stock rotation of merchandise on shelves and in fridges.

What experience you will need

• You will ideally have previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting.

What skills you will need

• Good level of customer service is essential to the role.
• Driving licence and ability to drive is advantageous to enable you to get to the resort due to a lack of public transport.
• Strong communication skills within the team and with guests.
• Positive attitude to work with willingness to learn.
