We are currently looking for a General Manager to join us onsite at a very well-respected law firm in London who are working hard to create an environment where their teams feel that they can bring their authentic self to work.

As a General Manager at Searcys you will oversee 7 key areas which cover hospitality & events, client dining, conferencing, main restaurant, good to go, cafe and bar. This is a large site and you will manage a team of 100 staff to provide a cost effective, efficient and quality service to the client, key stakeholders and all guests.

General Manager Responsibilities

  • Set objectives and be responsible for the day to day running of the location, including supervising the recruitment and selection process to ensure that it effectively meets the need of the location and Searcys.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, the client and all consumers to lead negotiations pertinent to the business.
  • Assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the location achieves, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
  • Work in conjunction with the company Account Director to prepare budgets; to achieve and maintain the costs in accordance with the budget.
  • Develop and evolve all client's services at location, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented.
  • Demonstrate gravitas in all elements of the remit.

  • Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service.
