Systems Owner & Manager - Leeds

Your role 

You will have overall system ownership - the "Product Owner" - of our future DAM system. You will be implementing, setting and maintaining a 1-3 year systems strategy/roadmap for the delivery and development our DAM. Working collaboratively with colleagues in ASDA Marketing and agency partners to ensure the system is developed according to our business needs as well as our strategic and commercial goals 

 You'll be creating and maintaining a governance structure to manage cross-functional teams, making sure roles and responsibilities are clear and that resource is in place from each team within Marketing to manage local administration, operational issues and risks, training, testing and information integrity.  

Working with ISD and other stakeholders, you'll need to keep up to date with market developments and ensure best in practice tagging, metadata, product information, and integration with wider platforms. 

Continuous improvement and innovation will be key in this role - working with other team members to resolve business problems, spot opportunities through a blend of system development, training, communication, reporting and process change.  You'll also need to make sure your community is kept up to date on how the DAM works and how to use it - you'll be the first point of contact for these updates.  

About You 

Experience as a produce owner, ideally with experience in DAM systems Strong change management and implementation experience 

Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level. Credible and impactful both with senior leadership team as well as core users Customer-focused Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of how creative assets are used and the asset lifecycles High attention detail to detail and proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneouslyExperience of full project lifecycle - analysis, design, and implementation
