MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME

The management training programme is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours of assistant and deputy managers in our estate to aid their career progression by enhancing leadership ability. It covers topics such as team development & recruitment skills, operational management, business acumen and commercial thinking as well as influencing and communication skills.

LEARNING TO LEAD

Learning to lead is a development programme designed to give delegates the skills they need to positively influence and motivate their team, whilst driving the business forward, setting them up for a supervisory role. It covers topics around problem solving and creative thinking as well as communication, training and coaching skills.

FIVE STAR IMPACT PROGRAMME

This programme offers support managers within our business the skills, expertise and foundation to deputise for the General Manager position. It covers topics such as recruitment, finance, marketing, F&B management and ends with a project presentation.

CHEF SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

The Chef Scholarship Programme has been designed to provide chefs with all the skills and qualifications needed to progress to head chef level. Throughout all levels of the scholarship chefs attend workshops, visit suppliers and work closely with our skilled Head Chefs in a variety of kitchens across the business.

CHEF SCHOLARSHIP LEVEL 1

The Chef Scholarship Level 1 programme has been developed to give delegates some of the kitchen skills needed to progress their career up to chef de partie. Throughout the chefs work closely with their head chef and attend workshops to build up their repertoire of Fuller’s kitchen skills.

CHEF SCHOLARSHIP LEVEL 2

The Chef Scholarship Level 2 programme has been developed to provide the kitchen skills needed to progress your chef career up to sous chef. Throughout the course chefs will work closely with their head chef to build a diary of evidence for the nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Cookery Theory and Practice.

CHEF SCHOLARSHIP LEVEL 3

The Chef Scholarship Level 3 development programme has been specifically designed to up skill our high performing sous chefs into our future head chefs. Scholars will be coached through a series of workshops, visits, and projects including topics such as management techniques, culinary skills and supplier experiences. Scholars will also undertake a self-study program using the BIIAB level 3 award in kitchen management. During the programme chefs will be working towards the nationally recognised Level 3 Award in kitchen management.
