About the Pub

The Sir John Warren is placed at the heart of Ilkeston on the Market Place, famous for it's annual fair in October, dating back to 1252.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager or strong Team Leader who is ready to progress. The site is scheduled for investment in late May, relaunching with a great new sports led concept. Sport knowledge is a bonus but not essential. The pub is already sports focused but also runs with a 'pub turned club' at the weekend. It also operates a function room upstairs and has a beer garden that is absolutely buzzing at the height of summer with TVs for sport outside too.

The successful candidate must have the drive and confidence to support the site going forward with this new brand. Strong leadership skills are necessary and a knowledge of back of house procedures including stocks and cellar management are a must.

About the Assistant Manager Role
