Main Responsibilities:

Your role as a Patient Ambassador is to manage ward based services within the hospital, and be responsible maintaining relationships with local customers and employees across the contract to resolve issues and problems. You will also Supervise, co-ordinate, motivate, train and work with ward based cleaning staff and hosts to provide a quality service.

 

Your duties will include:

  • Undertake a full and comprehensive range of domestic, housekeeping and patient catering duties in the working area
  • Responsible for delivery of Customer Support services within the Departments
  • Direct and assist Domestic, Housekeeping, Accommodation and Linen staff within the Departments
  • Prepare payroll data for Customer Support Manager Authorisation
  • Deputise when Customer Support Manager not on site

 
What skills do you need for this role?

  • Experience working within a similar role
  • Supervising other staff, monitoring work standards and team working essential
  • Institute of Leadership and Management, level 2 (ILM)
  • Good communication skills
  • Prepared to work unsociable hours
  • BICs training and assessor certificates
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certification
  • Health and Safety Awareness
